Odíhg Ststi̊sāt (Ststi̊ /səˑt/ [electricity] [dirt]) is a subtropical Large Town located in Häynÿhrt Hold, Síhtiznur Provence, within the Dalandic Empire.

The name Odíhg Ststi̊sāt is derived from the Tauric language, as Odíhg Ststi̊sāt was founded by Zêrëkdshe Willins, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Odíhg Ststi̊sāt has a yearly average temperature of 25°C (77°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 28°C (82°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 22°C (71°F). Odíhg Ststi̊sāt receives an average of 173 cm/y (68 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Odíhg Ststi̊sāt covers an area of nearly 7 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 5202 m (17066 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Odíhg Ststi̊sāt was founded durring the early 15th century in spring of the year 1449, by Zêrëkdshe Willins. The establishment of Odíhg Ststi̊sāt was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Odíhg Ststi̊sāt's construction back out of the project. Zêrëkdshe Willins pushed on reguardles, and Odíhg Ststi̊sāt was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Odíhg Ststi̊sāt was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Ststi̊sāt is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Odíhg Ststi̊sāt is is constructed arround a series of broad paverstone mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. Odíhg Ststi̊sāt's brittle defences has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

A look around Odíhg Ststi̊sāt shows Odíhg Ststi̊sāt as a den of corruption. Birbes can be seen changing hands openly, such that it must be customary to do so and must have been for a long time. The locals have no fear, no annoyance at the state of things, it simply is. The town has another layer to it as well. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear Odíhg Ststi̊sāt places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual, or at least, faking it.

Civic Infrastructure

Odíhg Ststi̊sāt possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.

Odíhg Ststi̊sāt has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. Cultural Notes

Odíhg Ststi̊sāt's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its fluid and florid elaborate style, comprising ornate, asymmetric designs and pastel shades. It is often considered to be a playful, light style, which made exuberant use of curves and emphasized subtle asymmetry in the general shape of its structures. Walls, ceilings and moldings are decorated with numerous interlacing of curves and counter-curves based on the shapes of ‘C’ and ‘S’, along with shell forms and other naturalistic shapes.

In Odíhg Ststi̊sāt most nights are accompanied by colorful ribbons of light in the sky.

The Hippogriff near Odíhg Ststi̊sāt are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.

Odíhg Ststi̊sāt's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves consuming a local narcotic to channel Invocation energies of tier 2 via oratory performances.
